Since his looks peaked at the tender age of 8, Dave Cullinane realized that he had the perfect face for radio after observing a day in one of Boston's most popular radio stations.
Full of drive and ambition, Dave made his first leap towards achieving his dreams by interning for a Boston area radio station. After getting his foot in the door, he continued to climb the ladder and turn heads in the radio industry.
During this time, he obtained a degree in Print Journalism from Suffolk University. While in school, he continued to work in radio. In addition, he also worked as a sports reporter for a weekly local newspaper, a daily Boston newspaper and an online website.
After years of learning from some of Boston's best radio personalities, Dave landed on Boston's number one personal finance radio program, Money Matters with Barry Armstrong and WBNW 1120 AM. He specializes in the overall execution of the program and implementing marketing initiatives that increase the shows visibility. He is also General Manager at AM 1120 WBNW.
Along with his duties at Money Matters with Barry Armstrong and WBNW, Dave launched his first radio program, hosting "Offsides with Dave Cullinane" which aired live on Sunday afternoons from 1-3PM on WBNW 1120 AM and streamed online at WBNW1120.com. The show featureed a panel of self-proclaimed sports experts and intriguing guests to cover all angles of the Boston sports scene.
When he is not in the studio or taking extended naps, you can find him ringing Jeremy Jacobs’ doorbell and then running away. An avid Boston Bruins fan, Dave spends many nights dreaming of one day seeing PJ Axelsson hoist the Stanley Cup, but isn’t holding his breath.
Dave is the youngest of six children and an uncle to three rug-rats.
